The cultural and recreative Assciation of Carpintarias de São Lázaro, non-profit private institucional entity has been created in 2014 after winning a public program promoted by the Lisbon Council for a use of this incredible building destined to "the development of a cultural integrated project, open to public leisure".

The venue, located in the heart of the bohemian Lisbon centre, promotes Art Exhibitions, live performances, screenings, art and music events and runs a regular calendar of cultural initiatives, showcasing all sorts of mediums, promoting varied social projects and displaying meaningful content accross their multiple floors, where the famous Miradouro de Baixo rooftop is included.
